Prince George, during his visit to New Zealand, to visit Lyttelton and Canter- i bury was made at the meeting of the Lyttelton Harbour Board yesterday. Mr W. G. Gallagher, chairman of the board, reported to the meeting as follows:—"We have all received with pleasurable anticipation the recent news that his Excellency Uu: Governor-General has conveyed to j his Royal Highness Prince George an invitation to visit New Zealand. I would suggest that this board asks the Governor-General to convey to his Royal Highness a most cordial invitation to visit Lyttelton and Canterbury, and to assure him of a warm and loyal welcome. "We do not know yet what vessel will convey his Royal Highness to New Zealand waters, but we can assure him that H.M.S.
