ARRESTS IN FINLAND
♦ DEATH OF OITK'KU HELSiNGFOKS. December 2!i. The Minister for Defence (M. A. A. Oksala) states that Colonel Asplund. of the biggest munition factory in Finland, who died in April, 1932, was poisoned. The members of a powerful espionage group with headquarters at Helsingfors. and believed to be connected with the French, have been arrested. M. Oksala adds that three others connected with the lactory have been poisoned, and the lives of other army technicians attempted. Among 20 persons arrested is a voung and attractive girl whom a high-placed officer employed.
