SAWING RECORD CLAIMED
(PEESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) INVERCARGILL, December 29. The world's double-handed sawing record of 12 seconds for 18-inch logs was broken to-day at Bluff at the Greenhills Society's sports by Alec and Horace Fraser, who ripped through a white pine log in 11 4-ssec. Application will be made to have the record declared official.
