The Holmdale arrived at Lvttelton yesterday from Wellington. She sailed in the afternoon on the: return trip to Wellington. The Port Waikato was an arrival at Lyttclton yesterday afternoon from Dunedin. She is discharging hardwood an<f transhipments of general cargo from Australia. The Storm is due this morning from Timaru and is to sail this afternoon for Wellington and Wanganui., The Poolta, due this morning from Timaru, will take in cargo for Napier and Gisborne. Site is to sail via Wellington. The Waipiata in to arrive a* Lvttelton Litis morning from Timaru. She is to saii for picto.'i. Wellington, and Auckland. The John is to load at Lvttelton on Thursday for Wellington, Wangamti, New Plymouth, and Waikato. The Calm is due here on Thursday from the south and will load and sail for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Atlas Diesel Company, Limited, has received orders from Workman Clark i 1928», Limited, for six 450 b.h.p. British Polar auxiliary Diesel engines for installation in the ships building at Belfast for the New Zealand Shipping Company.

KIWITEA TO RESUME

The Kiwitea, which has been laid up at Wellington undergoing survey, is to be brought back into commission next week, and will sail about Wednesday for Newcastle to load for Napier and Gisborne.

WAINUI FOR SURVEY

The Wainui is due here to-day from Dunedin to discharge Melbourne cargo and to load for that port. She is to sail this afternoon for Wellington, where she will undergo survey. The Wainui is to leave Wellington on Wednesday for Melbourne direct.
