A satisfactory financial position was shown in the report presented at Ihe annual convention of the New Zealand Association of Radio Transmitters. There are about 70 delegates, representing almost every district in the Dominion. The treasurer's report said that the year had closed with a credit balance of £75. Membership had been well maintained, there- being 615 financial members at the end of the year, compared with 621 12 months ago. The new constitution of the association was adopted. The following officers were elected: President, Mr W. G. Collett (Dunedin); vice-presidents, Messrs E. McKay (Auckland), W. M. Hall (Wellington), Dr. R. B. Dodds (Dunedin), Messrs R. T. Stanton (Christchurch); secretary, Mr K. Whiteley (Auckland); treasurer, Mr S. G. Waite (Auckland); editor of the magazine, Mr G. Mcß. Salt (Auckland); committee, Messrs C. Button, W. Illingworlh, L. Mellors, C. N. Edwards, F. Hawthorne, and R. Taylor (Auckland).
