Captain R. M. Kane has returned to the command of the Tamahine replacing Captain W. A. Gray. Captain S. Holm has relieved Captain A. Copcland as master of the Holmdale. Captain J. Bruce is now in command of the Kaimiro, relieving Captain A S Dalgliesh. Mr M M. McArthur has joined the Hoimaale as first mate, relieving Mr H. S. S. Curtiss. Mr L. Reid is relieving Mr N L Mackie as third mate of the Kanna.

TANKER DUE TO-DAY

The tanker Teakwood. with petrol from Batum for the Associated Motorists' Petrol Company, is due at Lyttelton this morning from Wellington. She is expected to sail to-mor-row for Dunedin.

The Mariposa's next trip from Australia to the Pacific Coast has been delayed. The liner now leaves Melbourne next Wednesday and Sydney three days later for Los Angeles and San Francisco. She is due at Auckland on December 19.

CAMBRIDGE FROM LONDON

The Federal Line steamer Cambridge is to arrive at Auckland on Tuesday morning from London. She is due at Lyttelton from Auckland about Friday next, and will complete discharge at Port Chalmers and New Plymouth.
