THE ABEL TASMAN IN PORT

The intercolonial steamer Abel Tasman, which arrived here early yesterday afternoon from Wellington, brought hardwood and poles from Coff's Harbour and general cargo from Sydney. The vessel, which was formerly in the Baltic timber trade under the name of Nord, is specially built for the carriage of timber, having extra long holds and hatches. She is to sail on Monday for Dunedin. CANADIAN HIGHLANDER DUE
