-■ ■■ ■ <|> ■ 1 1 - FUNERAL AT SPBINGSTON The funeral of Mr George Henry Ward, of "Oakwood," Tai Tapu, took place at the Springston Cemetery yesterday afternoon. The very large number of friends who attended was tes-
timony to the affection and esteem in ] which Mr Ward was held. 1 The service at the graveside was conducted by the Rev. N. P. Larsen, J Methodist minister of Tai Tapu, and -J the Rev. Basil Metson, a former min- ■ ister, after which Mr Maxey, master \ of the Lincoln Masonic Lodge, con- r r ducted a masonic service. j c The pall-bearers were Messrs K. ' Dulieu, D. Suckling, R.
