CARD EVENING The weekly card evening of the Advance Northcote Association was well attended. The winners were:— Mrs Fantham 1, Miss Smallbon 2; Mr Hendren 1, Mr W. Perera 2. Cycling:. Since the cycling track at the Papanui Domain has been put in riding order, it has been in use every evening by riders training for the Christmas and New Year meetings. The Canterbury Centre of the League of Wheelmen started weekly evening meetings on Tuesday, but owing to cricket practice being held on that night, the meetings will be held on Monday evenings in future.
