CIVIL ENGINEERS
ANNUAL MEETING OF N.Z. SOCIETY The next annual meeting of the New Zealand Society of Civil Engineers will be held at Dunedin from February 20 to 24. The officers and members of the council who, as required by the constitution, will retire, are Mr F J. Williams (president), Mr D. Holderness (vice-president), Mr F. J. Jones (honorary secretary), and Messrs A. J. Baker, M. Cable E Hitchcock, F. W. Mac Lean, and' Professor j. E. L. Cull (members of the council). The retiring honorary secretary and ordinary members of the council are all eligible for re-elec-tion. The following nominations for the election of officers have been received:—President, Mr D. Holderness-vice-president, Professor J. E. L Cull; honorary secretary. Mr F J Jones. Nominations will close on January 21.
