NAME-PLATE OF CRUISER RESTORED CALCUTTA, December 7. The Commissioner of Police at Calcutta, as a friendly gesture, has presented Baron Enderndorf, commander of the German cruiser Karlsruhe, now at Calcutta, with the name-plate of the Koenig, the German war-time raider, which was sunk at Dar-es-Salaam by the cruiser Southampton. The name-plate . was unscrewed and brought to Calcutta by a petty officer. It was left at police headquarters. Baron Enderndorf said that he deeply appreciated the gift.
