FIVE YEAR PLAN FOR TURKEY
SOVIET CO-OPERATION (Received December 7, 9.31 p.m.) CONSTANTINOPLE. Dec. 6. Mustapha Kemal's Cabinet is launching an industrial five-year plan covering the construction of 14 factories, 12 of which will be State-owned. They will produce coke, yarns, bottles, paper tissues, cellulose, and chemicals. The budget provides for the purpose 30,000,000 Turkish pounds, and the Soviet is providing 16,000,000 Turkish pounds.
