KIDNAPPING PLOT RUMOURED
WARNINGS TO LORD MAYOR OF MELBOURNE (Received December 7, 11.40 p.m.) MELBOURNE, December 7. Anonymous letters to the Lord Mayor, Alderman H. G. Smith, urge him to take precautions to prevent the kidnapping of his bride. A letter to the bride's mother expresses thanks for guarding against trouble before the wedding yesterday.
