PIGEON FLYING

CANTERBURY CLUB The Canterbury Pigeon Flying Club flew a race from Feilding recently. One hundred and seventeen birds were sent. The lofts were divided into two sections. east and west. The birds were liberated in overcast weather and an easterly wind, which changed to south-west as the birds neared home and made it fairly hard for the birds to face. TIIO winner was R. V.
