PROHIBITED IMMIGRANTS
* NEW ZEALANDERS CHARGED IX SYDNEY (Received November 30, 12.50 a.m.) SYDNEY, November 29. The two passengers by the Marama from New Zealand who were not allowed to land were Francis Pinker, aged 21, a labourer, and Francis Jeeves, aged 23, a carpenter. Charged with being prohibited immigrants, they were sentenced to a month's imprisonment and ordered to be returned to New Zealand.
