WELLINGTON COLLEGE
AN EARLY HISTORY A history of Wellington College, which has been written by Mr Frank M. Leckie, of Heretaunga, is now ready for publication. In a letter to Mr W. M. Hamilton, who was chairman, until his death a few days ago, of the Christchurch branch of the Wellington College Old Boys' Association, Mr Leckie says that the publisher has agreed on an edition of 1000 copies of 256 pages with 80 illustrations, some of which have not before been published.
Mr Leckie recently had the distinction of winning the old boys' race at the college sports. It was an extraordinary feat, for he won a similar race in 1883.
