Buyers of Canterbury .Frozen Meat ordinary shares moved up to £lO, but sellers wanted £lO 2s Gd. New Zealand Refrigerating' 10s paid shares were fractionally weaker at 9s 3d. buyers staying in at that price, .sellers at 9s 4c!. Kaiapoi Woollens fully paid ordinary shares were iirm with sellers and business at 8s (id, buyers at 8s 4d —buyers of the preference advanced their offers to 15s 9d. New Zealand Breweries remained unaltered at 37s 6d, and there were further sellers at that price. Miscellaneous. British Tobaccos were firmer with business at 37s (id, and further buyers at 37s 9d, sellers at 38s 3d. Colonial Sugars were firmer on buyers' offers £59 10s. Dunlop Rubbers were fractionally weaker with business at 18s lOd, and further sellers at 18s 9d. Mount Lyells dropped to 23s 6d and 23s sd, sellers staying in at the lower price, buyers at 23s 3d. Nevis Diesel Electric shares were a shade easier with buyers and business at lid. sellers at il>]d. Kawaraus realised did, market closing s'.d buyers, 7d sellers. New Cornish Point 6d paid were firm with dealings at 6id, and further buyers at Gd. Okaritos were a shade easier at 10s Gd, buyers staying in at that price, sellers at 10s 7d. Unlisted Stocks.
