DECISIONS OF N.Z. COUNCIL PAPANUI CLUB SUSPENDED (rinse ASSOCIATION telegbam.) WELLINGTON, October 17. The New Zealand Cycling Council to-day resolved:— That the Wellington Centre be advised that F. Grose, T. Grose, Stevens, Pearl, and Lancaster are ineligible to compete in the Palmerston NorthWellington road race on Saturday as they have competed at unregistered meetings. That the Papanui Amateur Cycling Club be suspended, and the club asked to show cause why its affiliation should not be cancelled for the reason that it conducted unregistered meetings. That the attention of all officials and riders be drawn to the fact that it is an offence under the rules to compete in unregistered meetings; for example, meetings or events conducted by the New Zealand League of Amateur Wheelmen and the Papanui Club. That all riders be warned that it is an offence to take part in races in which unregistered riders compete.
