BOWLS
CKRISTCHURCH LADIES' CENTRE At the monthly meeting of the Chrislchurch Ladies' Bowling Centre there were present: Mesdames Rowntree (president), Boon. Templeton, Dickson, Bambury, Robb, Fuller, and Miss Blackham (secretary). Mrs Boon presented the report of the match committee as to the draw for the inter-club rinks, and it was decided to send Mr Healey a letter of thanks for his help in this matter. The decision of the centre to hold an interprovincial tournament in March, 19.34, was discussed, and a letter from the Dunedin Association was read saying that it would be pleased to send teams on that occasion. It was hoped that Oamaru and Timaru would also be represented.
SYDENHAM CLUB
The following will represent the Sydenham Bowling Club against Beckenham, at Beckonham, on Saturday:—Adkins, A. E. Smith, C. Kent, Armstrong (s) ; Gemmell, Parsons, Maddren, Garth (s); Miran, Neate, McClay, Archer (s); J. Smith, Sheir, Merriman. Coombes (s). v. Returned Soldiers' Association (at Returned Soldierß) : Baker, Swanson, Farrant, Turland (s) ; Ayson, Gough, Gibson, Spearman (b). (At Sydenham): Dempsey. Ball, Harris. Cooper (s); Bigg, Fisk, Faulkiner, C. Taylor (s). Remaining players will meet at Sydenham.
