A small property in Portland road, Remuera, Auckland, formed the subject of five long letters that came before the Auckland Transport Board at a recent meeting. ' - I have heard of a section that you could not see for mortgages, but I have never before heard of one that you co not see for owners," commented a member. "The history of the section goes back to the days of horsedrawn trams," lie added.
