An apprenticeship school for training boys in the plumbing, bricklaying, and carpentering trades is to be started in Wanganui. It is proposed that both practical and theoretical work be carried out five days a week and 'hat the boys be taught by unemployed artisans experienced in the various trades. Premises have been acquired in the city and the Unemployment Board is to be approached and asked for assistance. A committee to control the project is to bD formed shortly.^
