SCOUT NOTES

1 fEICLUSITB TO THE PRESS.] [ISSUED FROM METROPOLITAN HEADQUARTERS.] Census Returns. A number of troops are still be-hind-hand in sending forward their census returns. Scouters and secretaries should not only "be prepared," but should remember the fifth scout law. Headquarters are put to a great deal of inconvenience by those secretaries who do not take the trouble to send in their returns in time, and the Dominion secretary finds it impossible to make up his papers, which are required to go to England, giving the total number of scouts in the Dominion. It is hoped that secretaries will send in their returns without delay. Examination Results. The secretary of the badge committee reports the following results of the conventional signs test for first class scouts, held on Wednesday, October 11, 1933:—Scouts P. Blewitt, R. Carson. T.
