CHINESE BANDIT ARMY BEATEN
PEKING, October 4. Fang Chen-wu's forces besieging Changping have been routed and many taken prisoner and brought to Peking. During the operations Japanese aeroplanes bombed the irregulars and further troops have been sent to exterminate the remnants.
