GERMAN ATLANTIC AIR SERVICE
FLOATING AERODROME TO SAIL THIS WEEK BERLIN, October 2. The Westfalen, a floating aerodrome, will sail on Thursday to take up a position in the Atlantic between British Gambia and South America. She will be equipped with directional wireless. Carrying three seaplanes, the Westfalen will inaugurate the regular Luft Hansa mail service from Berlin to Pernambuco and Buenos Aires in four and five days respectively by means of landplanes as far as Cadiz, and then by seaplanes.
