BICYCLE REGISTRATION AND TRAFFIC CONTROL
For discussion at the meeting of the Christchurch City Council on October 9, Cr. H. T. J. Thacker has given notice of the following motion: "That •with a view to the more direct control of the ordinary push bicycles in the city, the by-laws committee consider the advisability of devising some scheme of registration at a nominal fee to cover the cost; also, that the practice of cyclists riding more than two abreast be the subject of a new by-law; further, that the traffic inspectors be empowered to remove bicycles when left about the footpaths i jßiiaog obstruction." i
