NOTES AND MEMORANDA
A dance in aid of the Spreydon school jubilee will be held to-morrow evening. The annual prize-giving demonstration of the Christchurch Presbyterian Sunday School Union will be held this evening. The Licensed Victuallers' Associaiton's annual ball will be held in the Caledonian Hall on Tuesday. The fifty-second annual general meeting of shareholders of the New Zealand Farmers' Co-operative Association of Canterbury, Ltd., will be held on Saturday, September 30, at 11 a.m. A lecture on "Ibsen and His Plays" will be given by Professor F. Sinclaire, in the Workers' Educational Association's rooms to-morrow evening.
