SHIPPING NOTES

The Kapiti has been delayed in the north and is now due here to-night. She will load to-morrow lor Wanganui. The tanker Paua is due at 7 o'clock this morning from Wellington. She is to discharge case-oil here to-day and is to sail this afternoon for Pie ton. The Taupata is to load here to-day for Nelson, Mapua, and Motueka. The Waipahi is due this morning from Timaru and is to sail for Wellington and Auckland this afternoon. The Union Company's motor cargoship Hauraki is to arrive here to-day from Wellington to discharge cargo from Los Angeles and other Pacific Coast ports. She is to sail to-morrow for New Plymouth. The Storm is now to arrive here tomorrow from the south. She is to sail for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Holmdale is timed to load at Lyttelton 011 Tuesday for Wellington, Picton. and Wanganui. The Port Whangarei was delayed in the south by rain. She is to take in cargo for Auckland. Tauranga, and Whangarei. and is to sail via Wellington. The Port Waikato is to arrive here on Sunday from Auckland and Wellington. She is to load on Monday for Bluff. Dunedin, and Timaru. NEW TRADER EXPECTED The motor-ship Abel Tasman, formerly the Norwegian vessel Nord, is expected to arrive in New Zealand from Australia about the end of this ; month.
