* RUSSLEY CLUB LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL Over 86 holes, the final of the RussLadies' Club championship was played yesterday between Miss Valmai Fleming and Miss Cora Penn. Miss Fleming won, 11 up and 9 to play. Miss Penn, who is on the 15 mark, played very steadily, and offered unexpected opposition to MiSs Fleming, whose handicap is 5. The pair were all square up to the twelfth hole, but in the remainder of the morning, 18 holes. Miss Fleming went to a lead of 3 up. The second 18 holes were being played in the afternoon. Miss Fleming won the first two holes. but Miss Penn, with two bogeys, equalised. The fourth and fifth were halved, but Miss Fleming won the sixth to go 1 up. The seventh was halved, and then good play by Miss Penn gave her Ihe eighth and ninth in bogey figures. Miss Fleming squared at the next with a bogey three, but the eleventh and twelfth were halved, and the players were all square. A magnificent iron second gave Miss Fleming an eagle three, and a I up lead at the thirteenth, and a bogey five at the next saw her 2 up. The fifteenth was halved, but Miss Fleming took the next hole, with a 6. The last two holes of the morning round were halved, so that for the afternoon Miss Fleming started 3 up. In the morning round Miss Fleming went out in 44. and was home in 41. giving her an 85 round. Miss Perm's figures were 44 out, including two sevens, and 47 home, total 9.1. In the afternoon Miss Flemings superiority was more marked. Only 10 of the 18 holes had to be played, and of the 10 Miss Fleming won eight. HAWARDEN LADIES' TOURNAMENT SECOND DAY'S I'I.AV The Ila warden ladies' open golf tournament was concluded yesterday. The weather was again perfect and the course in good order. Miss B. Rutherford, last year's champion, again, won the championship cup with a gross score of 160, and Mrs D. C. Macfarlanc was runner-up with 107.

The medal match, played in conjunction with the championship round, was won by Mrs B. L. Blunden in the senior section and by Miss Hiatt in the junior section. In the four-ball bogey match there was a tie between Mrs F. D. Dalzell and Miss M. Hunter and Mrs Dearden and Miss Duncan, each pair being 5 up, the former pair winning on the last 15 holes. The teams' match was won by Amuri. The players were Mrs D. C. Macfarlanc, Mrs M. Bethell, Mrs G. Reid, and Miss Duncan. At the conclusion of the tournament the prizes were presented by Mrs G. L. Rutherford. The best scores were:
