NORTH CANTERBURY ASSOCIATION.
The annual tournament of tho North Canterbury Basketball Association was held on Saturday afternoon at tho Rangiora High School ground. Klcven teams competed and there was a large attendance of spectators. The results were: First Hound—Ashley A 18, Kaiapoi 0; Loburn 8, Ashley B 1; Rangiora A 3, Horrrlvillo 0; Oxford 3, Cust 2; Clarkville 13, Rangiora B1; Okoha a bye. Second Round—Clarkvillo 3, Ashley A 1 ; Ohoka A 6, Loburn 1; Rangiora A 7, Oxford 4. Semi-final—Rangiora A 7, Ohoka A 2; Clarkville a bye. Final—Rangiora 4, Clarkville 2.
