PRISONERS SENTENCED.
♦ (PBESS ASSOCIATION TKUEOBAU > WELLINGTON, July 29. David Rosental, alias David aged 23, found guilty on Wednesday, with a recommendation to mercy, on a charge of stealing money and two charges of obtaining drapery goods by false pretences, to-day was sentenced by Mr Justice Reed to 12 months* reformative detention on each charge; the terms to be concurrent Victor Brownson, aged 44, a jeweller, who was found guilty of receiving a ring knowing it to have been' dishonestly obtained, was sentenced to 12 months' reformative detention.
