Mr C. T. P. Ulm's Atlantic flight t has been indefinitely postponed because of the accident to his aeroplane while it was being wheeled The undercarriage broke under * J the load of 1000 gallons of petrol. Several persons were pinned under the wing, and frantic efforts were made to extricate them. One , broke a leg, and two were seriously '• injured and taken to hospital. The petrol has been run out and the aeroplane jacked up to avoid danger from the incoming tide. Solr diers are guarding it. .... f Mr Ulm says he has no intention ~ of abandoning the flight, but will leave as soon as repairs are made.
