PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to and in rxercise of the powers conferred by "The Counties Act, 1920," and "The Rating Act, 1925," and Amendments thereto, it is the intention of the Waipara County Council at its next meeting to be holden at Waikari on Monday, the 14th day of August, 1933, to make and levy a GENERAL RATE of Fiveeighths of a penny (&d) in the pound on the Capital Value of all the property appearing upon the Valuation Rolls o'f the said County; a SPECIAL RATE of one half-penny (Jd) in the pound over the Capital Value of the property in the Stonyhurst Special Area: a SPECIAL RATE of one penny three farthings (ljd) in the pound over the Capital value of the property in the Lake Sumner Special Area; a SPECIAL RATE of five-eighths of a penny (fd) in the pound over the Capital Value of the property in the Waipara River Bridge (Edwards Crossing) Special Area; and a SEPARATE RATE of one half-penny (Jd) in the pound over the Capital Value of the property in the Horsley Downs Drainage and Water Supply Area; SUCH RATES to be for a period of twelve months commencing on the Ist day of April, 1933. and ending on the 31st day of March. 1934, and shall be DUE AND PAYABLE in one instalment at the County Offices at Waikari on the 28th day of August, 1933.
