MUNICIPAL OFFICERS.
ANNUAL MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. The annual meeting of the Municipal Officers' Association was held in the social room of the council chambers, on Wednesday. The election of officers resulted:— Patron, the Mayor (Mr D. G. Sullivan, M.P.); president, Mr J. W. Niven; vice-presidents, Messrs E. Somers, M. J. Barnett, and H. M. Garrlck: committee, Messrs A. F. Clearwater, L. N. Hitchens, G. L. Young, E. P. Chappell, C. Cauldwell, C. D. Marks, and V. R. J. Hean; honorary auditor, Mr C. S. Bowie; honorary treasurer, Mr W. 11. Parr; honorary secretary, Mr R. D. Vincent. A very enjoyable social evening was spent. Alter supper several competitions were held.
