SHOP ENTERED.
QUANTITY OF CAKE STOLEN. Premises occupied by Ernest Adams, Ltd., cake manufacturers, at 346 Colombo street, Sydenham, were entered on Wednesday night and a quantity of cake, valued at more than £3, and 4s in money stolen. Access was gained from Queen street, at the rear of the shop, and an attempt was first made on the back door. When this proved unsuccessful, attention was directed to a fanlight above one of the rooms behind the shop. After this had been opened, the intruder dropped to the floor and broke the glass panelling of a door leading into the shop. There
