The second annual meeting of the New Zealand Grasslands Association will be held at Canterbury College on August 15, 16, and 17. A letter from Dr. F. W. Hilgendorf, of Lincoln College, read at the meeting of the North Canterbury executive of the Farmers' Union yesterday, stated that the association consisted of all the scientific and many of the commercial workers in grasslands research in the Dominion. The meeting would be attended by research workers from the Plant Reseaich Station. Palmerston North, from Massey College, and from the Department of Agriculture. Apart from the day sessions, at which papers would be read and discussions held on all grassland problems, there would be public meetings in the evenings.
