11'8 ESS ASSOCtATIO.V TEt.EGRAM.) WELLINGTON, July 26. Referring to the visit of the Australian Fleet, the Minister for Defence (the Hon. J. G. Cobbe) to-day said that he doubted whether it would be possible to extend the itinerary already arranged. The visit of the ships was not a pleasure trip; the primary object was for both the Australian and New Zealand Divisions to engage in combined exercises.
