ADVERTISING PEACE.

MR F. H. HAMILTON'S SCHEME. Mr F. Henry Hamilton, of Christchurch, donor of the Hamilton Peace Prize, has received a letter from the president of the Advertising Association (Major J. J. Astor), which reads: "In reply to your letter of April 28 I have communicated your suggestion in regard to further peace by advertising to the chairman of the committee of the Advertising Convention, who, I am sure, will give it every consideration." The Advertising Convention is to commence at Olympia, London, to-day. It will be opened by the Prime Minister (Mr Ramsay Mac Donald). "Advertising and World Recovery" is to be the theme of the convention, which will last for four days.
