REWARDS FOR PUBLIC SERVICES.
CIVIL LIST PENSIONS. {BRITISH OFFICIAL WIRELrSS.) RUGBY, July 14. A civil list pension of £IOO has been granted to Sir Frank Benson, the Shakespearean actor, in recognition of his services to dramatic art. Others in the list include the Rev. Edwin Collins £6O, in recognition of his contributions to the study of Jewish medieval philosophy; Sir William Schooling, £125 for public service in the national literary movement, and Lady Stanford £9O, in recognition of the services to music of her husband, Sir Charles Stanford.
