SHIPPING NOTES. The Gale, which was delayed at Timaru on Friday by rain, arrived at Lyttelton yesterday and is to sail today for Wellington and Wanganui. The John was an arrival here yesterday from Timaru. She is to load here to-day for Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Walkato. The Foxton is to load at Lyttelton today for Foxton direct. The Kini arrived here yesterday from Timaru. She is to load and sail to-day for Wellington, Nelson, New Plymouth, Westport, and Grcymouth. The Port Whangarei was slipped at Wellington on Friday for cleaning and painting, and arrived here yesterday. Instead of going south she will load here to-morrow for Picton and Auckland. The Holmdale is due at Lyttelton to-morrow from Wellington. She is to sail for Dunedin, Oamnru, and Timaru, and is due back about Friday to load for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Storm is due here to-morrow from the south and will load for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui. The Port Waikato has been delayed and is now due here on Thursday from Dunedin. She will discharge Sydney cargo and will load for Auckland, Tauranga, and Whangarei. The Waimarino is to arrive at Lyttelton to-morrow from Timaru. THE KANGITIKI. The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor-liner Rangitiki left Wellington at 9 o'clock yesterday morning for Lyttelton and arrived in the stream Inst night. She is to berth this morning to commence loading. The Tasmania, which left Blufl' on June 2 for London, sailed from Las Palmas on Thursday. ASHBURTON REPORTS, The Ashburton. en rouic from New York, via Port Arthur and Tampico, has reported that she expects to arrive at Auckland to-morrow. She will be at Wellington about five days later. DUE AT AUCKLAND TO-MORROW The steamer Fife, en route from Galveston, Texas, has reported that she expects to reach Auckland to-morrow or Wednesday. She has a full cargo of sulphur for discharge at Auckland, Lyttelton, and Wanganui. KIWITEA LEAVES ADELAIDE.

Advice has been received by the Union Company that the Kiwitea, from Melbourne and Edithburg, left Adelaide at midnight on Wednesday for Hobart to complete loading for Bluff, Dunedin. Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Auckland, and New Plymouth. She is to clear Hobart to-day, and is due at Lyttelton on July 26.
