THE BLUE BATH.

A decision to proceed with the completion of the blue bath building at Rotorua, on which work was suspended some months ago, was announced to-day by the lion. J. Bitchener. The work will be done by the Public Works Department, which is in a position to ?naice lt\ early start. It is hoped to nave lhe building ready for the next tourist season.
The work to be done consists of the erection of the two-s'.oniyed portion of the building with a large lounge, kitchen, and store on the ground floor, and a spacious tearoom on the upper floor, and the lining of the bath with glazed tiles. A novel system of heating for the building has been devised by the circulation of water from a natural hot spring. About 30 artisans will be employed at the ruling public works wage. Employment will not be rationed.
