TO STUDY IN ENGLAND.
S CANTERBURY STUDENTS
LEAVING.
Five students from Canterbury College will be leaving for Britain during the year, to pursue their studies in Home universities. Miss Dorothy Maginness, who has been assisting hi the psychology department during the last two years, •will sail shortly for London, where she intends to carry on her psychological studies at University College, London. Mr K. Sheen, who has a post graduate scholarship in French which will enable him to spend two or three years in England, has chosen University College, London, as the place for his investigation of the works of Anatole France. He will leave New Zealand about the middle of next month. Mr 35. R. Cooper, winner of this year's 1851 Exhibition Scholarship, will take up studies in molecular structure in October, under Professor Bragg at Manchester University; while Mr A. J. Ockleston, the first HiattBaker scholar from the Engineering School, will leave next month for Bristol, where he proposes to specialise in structural work. Mr R. S. Duncan will be leaving in about three weeks' time to take a course of studies at Cambridge.
