HELPING AVIATION.
AUSTRALIAN ALLOCATION. CANBERRA, July 12. The sum of £SOOO has been allocated by the Federal Cabinet for the encouragement of private aviation enterprises in the current financial year. Of this £3OOO is to be used at the discretion of the Minister for Defence to relieve the difficulties under which a number of enterprises are working, and £2OOO is specifically set aside for an aerial oil survey.
