Reference to the outstanding success of the short course for farmers recently concluded at Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln, was made at the monthly meeting of the Board of Governors of the college yesterday. It was reported that the course was attended by 26 residential and 14 non-residential students, these including one student from Southland, two from Otago Central, three from the Waimate district, and the remainder from north of the Rangitata river. On demonstration day it was estimated that approximately 250 persons attended. The board passed votes of thanks and congratulations to the demonstrators and to the director (Professor R. E'. Alexander) and staff, particularly to those members of the staff who organised the course.. J
