"Legend," "When The Whirlwind Blows," and "They Refuse to be Resurrected," are to be the bill of fare at the Little Playhouse, 170 Manchester street, to-night, and on Thursday next The two last-mentioned plays will'be produced for the first time in Christchurch, and are considered to be among the best of the one-act plays for 1932. Intensely dramatic is Ef /aend» a tale of the sea, teeming with superstitious folk-lore. "When The Whirlwind Blows is set in Europe during a state of class warfare. "Thfev Refuse to be Resurrected tells of those truly delightful puppets, Pierrot, Harlequin, and Columbine. This play won two prizes in the national festival of drama of' British Drama Leafiue. held in litsz.
