CHILEAN SHEEP SLAUGHTERED.
EFFECTS OF BRITISH RESTRICTIONS. (Received June 27, 5.5 p.m.) MAGALLANES (Chile), June 26. The British restrictions on meat imports have forced Chilean ranches to slaughter 225,000 sheep from which the only marketable produce was tallow. Ordinarily almost all the sheep raised in this region have been exported to England.
