She is to load and sail to-day for Foxton direct. The Waimarino is due here this i mprning from Timaru. She is to sail | this afternoon for Picton, Wellington, ! and Auckland. The Wingatui is an expected arrival here to-day from Auckland and Wellington. She is to sail this afternoon for Dunedin and Timaru, and is due back on Tuesday to load for Auckland. The tanker Sir Karl Knudsen left Wellington yesterday morning for Lyttelton and is due here early this morning. The Storm is to load here to-morrow for Wellington and Wanganui. The Kapiti is expected at Lyttelton on I Friday and is to sail on Saturday with cargo for Wanganui. Owing to slackness of trade with the Pacific Islands, the Union Steam Ship Company has decided temporarily to withdraw the steamer Waipahi, which is due at Auckland from Fiji on Thursday. Her trip from Auckland to the Islands on July 6 has been cancelled. During the time the Waipahi is out of service, the Union Company's steamer Karetu will make regular trips from Sydney to Fiji and Apia, and from Apia she will proceed to Auckland via Suva. The Karetu, from Auckland, was due at Newcastle yesterday, thence to Sydney to complete loading for Fiji and Auckland. The Kiwitea left Greymouth on Saturday for Melbourne. She is to load there, and will complete at Adelaide, Edithburg, and Hobart for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington. Auckland, and New Plymouth. The Waikouaiti, from Newcastle, was to leave Sydney on Monday lait for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, and Lyttelton. She will then return via Bluff to Sydney and Newcastle.
