GUARDS ATTACKED BY PRISONERS.
BRAWL IN INDIAN COURT. CALCUTTA, April 9. While a number of prisoners were being tried at Meerut for armed robbery and murder, they suddenly attacked the police guard, using bars from the dock rails as weapons. Two court officials were injured in a fierce fight before the prisoners were overpowered.
