At the Leichhardt Stadium Walter Browning met Bonnie Muir in a fierce bout in which there was a good deal of fighting, in spite of the warnings of the referee, Mr McMaster. In the fifth round Mr McMaster floored Browning with a right swing to the jaw and disqualified him, proclaiming Muir the winner.
