WEDDINGS.

HARMAN—WILSON. A wedding of particular interest to a very largo circle of friends, and one liiat united two of the best-known families in Christchurch, took place at Si. Augustine's Church. Cashmere Hills, yesterday morning, when Jocejyvi Alary, eldest daugliter of Bishop Wilson, Bishop of Bunbury, Western Australia, and Mrs Wilson, and granddaughter of Archbishop Julius, was married to Richard Strachan De Renzy, eldest son of Mr and Mrs T. D. Harman. of Feudal ton. The ceremony was performed by his Gi--P.ce Archbishop Julius, who was assisted by Canon A. H. Norm. Nuptial music was played by Dr. T. L. Crooke, and the church was beautifully decorated with pink and blue hydrangeas and phlox. ■ The bride was given away by her uncle, the Very Rev. Dean J. A. Julius. She wore a frock of cream silk pique plainly made with slight tucking at the waistline and with long slcevcsT V-shaped neckline, and flared, siightK-trained skirt. Her beautiful bridal veil, which had been worn by her great-grandmother, was of Honiion lace, and was held to her head with a. spray of orange blossom. She carried lovely bouquet of cream coloured roses and carnations. ; Miss Chrvstobel Bowen was the oni;y i bridesmaid.' She wore a pretty, short- j sleeved frock of primrose georgette ! patterned with maize and green, trimmed with tiny frills, and worn j with a capelet of the material, banderl with maize-coloured satin. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of white lace and georgette. The long fitting bodice, with short puffed sleeves, was trimmed with tucking and the skirt was and fully flared. Her lace-edged veil was worn off the face, and was held in place by a spray of orange blossom, and she carried an armlet bouquet of begonias, lilium , aujatjun, and carnations. The bride, was attended by Mrs David Russell as matron of honour ,and Miss Yvonne Burns' as : train-bearer. Mrs Russell wore a froek of ponder blue georgette made with plain bodice, cowl neckline, and waist-length cape-collar, clasped at- the waist with a brilliant buckle.
