* APPEAL BOARD SESSION. The War Pensions Apnea] Board upheld 25 oases (luring its session ac Cliristcluirch from January 9 to February T. A total of 33 appeals were dismissed. and several others deterred for consideration at fcho next sittings. Tho majority of the appeals were lodged by men who had previously been in receipt of pensions and whose disabilities had become worse. There were cases in which application wr.s made !Or pensions icr the first time, and in which pensions were granted. ~ , Sir Walter Stringer presided throughout the sesaiun. arid Mr E. F. WillcOx. seerctarv of the Returned Soldiers' Association, presented the case of each applicant.
